Research
Research in complex multiphysics phenomena related to capillary-driven flow; flow through porous media; fluid-structure interaction; geomechanics; and decarbonization technologies using computational fluid dynamics and AI, as well as research in relevant global issues such as climate change and sustainability.
Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI)
Fluid-structure Interaction problems require intricate mathematical and computational methodology to couple different physics accurately and efficiently. We thus, study FSI problems relating to multiphase flows, flow through porous media, etc., while implementing complex interface conditions and leveraging HPC.
Sustainability
Innovation-driven carbon emission reduction programs have become a critical requirement in modern research. From decarbonization to the development of more renewable eco-friendly materials, and sustainable manufacturing methods, we examine these subjects and engender innovative solutions.
Impact of Climate Change
The impact of climate change cannot be understated in the 21st century. The rise in global temperatures, the increase in the frequency of natural disasters, and their impact on the environment and especially on human health is an important area of research that is being examined.
